Includes view camera use, electronic flash, advanced lighting techniques, color temperature and filtration, and lighting ratios. Requires outside shooting. Part I of II.Lecture 2 hours. Studio lights are available for checkout. Hybrid Course. Please note: As of Fall 2023, Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions are no longer offered for free through NOVA. Students need to purchase their own licenses to complete the coursework successfully. A limited number of computers with access to Adobe will be available in designated computer labs. Hybrid Course 50% of class time meets in person, on campus; students are expected to attend class in person on the days and times listed on the schedule. 50% of class work is completed online, independently, via CANVAS. Reliable internet access and a computer are required. Prerequisite is PHT 102 or instructor permission. Introduces fundamental studio lighting techniques using continuous and flash/strobe equipment. Gain experience solving a variety of lighting problems through class demos. Access to a digital camera with fully adjustable manual controls is required. |
